Arata Coolhand アラタ・クールハンド

イラストレーター／文筆家

広告、挿絵、ロゴタイプの制作などの「描く」と、文章執筆の「書く」を仕事とする。
09年FLAT HOUSE（フラットハウス）と命名した首都圏に残る古い平屋住宅と、そこで暮らす住人たちを紹介する『FLAT HOUSE LIFE』を発刊。
以降、住宅から生き方を考えることをテーマにした著書を多く発表する。ビンテージ建具などを使用し、オリジナル性を生かした中古住宅のレストアを手掛ける『FLAT HOUSE planning』を主宰。現在東京と九州２ヶ所の木造平屋で暮らす「２拠点交互生活」を実践中。
